Bar Harbor in Winter

We spent a few days in January 2011 in Bar Harbor, Maine and Acadia National Park. We had a major snowstorm sandwiched between two very nice sunny days. There is not much going on in January; very few restaurants are open, especially early in the week, and no lobster related activity nor is there any lobster on the menu. From a tourist point-of-view, the Maine coast is in a hard shut-down. Still some of the roads in the park are open and the snow / ocean landscape is interesting.
